Ok I own a lot of guitars. Some I like more than others. Right out of the box, this guitar was set up decently. The one thing that will catch your eye is the amazing finish on this guitar. It is one of the most unique and beautiful paint jobs I've seen on a guitar. It even beats the finish on some of my made in the USA Gibson Les Pauls! It is a metallic looking light blue with sparkle in the paint. The pictures of this guitar don't do it justice.

The pickups are decent. The sound close to some of my lower end Les Pauls with Bursbucker Pros. Maybe not quite as much bite, but they sound great. I think the guitar also sounds so good because it is solid. You will notice the body is nice and heavy and provides amazing sustain. I have no clue if this guitar is chambered like the USA Gibsons, but it doesn't feel like it as it is much heavier than some of my Gibson Les Paul Studios.

You can't beat the price if you are looking for a nice guitar that is a daily... Read more

I originally planned on buying a Gibson Les Paul but when I saw this Epiphone LP, I fell in love. Turned out to be a great decision. Here's why:

-SOUND-
Incredible sound for a sub-$500 guitar! Unless you're a guitar expert, you wouldn't know this isn't a Gibson LP.

-FIT & FINISH-
This guitar is very well made. It showed up two days after I ordered it and has no blemishes or noticeable factory defects. The pictures don't do this guitar justice. The blue is metallic and looks amazing in person! This color is uncommon so I'm glad my LP looks somewhat unique.

-PLAYABILITY-
I'm not a pro so I'm not perfectly qualified to comment technical aspects but this guitar just feels right in my hands. I'm used to playing an acoustic so this solid body seems a little heavier than I'm used to. Sitting down, this thing feels at home on my lap.

-SET UP-
It arrived set up and ready to play. Didn't even need my tuner. Just plug into an amp... Read more

This guitar does really look a lot better in person than what the pictures shows. It really stands out. It has a real nice metallic in the the paint. And, well it plays awesome. I did slight adjustments, but other than that its great right out of the box. Iv'e owned a lot of guitars that costed 2 times the price of this and didn't play or have the precise accuracy that this guitar has. I love it!!
